About Monique,
My passion for making glass beads started in 2004. My inspiration comes from nature and fabric prints. My education at the School for Fashion and the School for Graphical Arts has largely influenced my style in making beads and glass objects.

I am always searching for the right balance between shape, colour and light, and the interaction of fore- and background.
A creative process with experimenting and trying has passed before a bead piece of glass art or glass sculpture has reached the right balance.
